TaylorMade SIM 2 Driver Features

The new SIM 2 driver has been torn down and rebuilt from the ground up with a new shape to promote forgiveness and inspire confidence. Available in SIM 2, SIM 2 Max and the SIM 2 Max D-Type the 2021 driver from Taylormade features Forged Ring Technology. The forged ring construction uses lightweight, high modulus aluminium to join all of the components together so they act as one unit. Alongside the internal construction the external features of the SIM 2 Driver have been shaped for optimal aerodynamics to make the most of the new Inertia Generator.

The SIM 2 Driver promotes a high MOI with a hefty 16g steel weight on the Inertia Generator to provide that extra bit of grunt to add predictable, controlled yards to your drive. The now iconic Speed Pocket makes a return along with the Twist Face and Milled Back Face Cup that helps you reach the fairway more easily.

Unlike traditional cavity back irons these Cap Back irons unlock the true potential of a game improvement iron. A softer ECHO® Damping System, fully enclosed by the Cap Back Design, stretches from heel to toe and absorbs unwanted vibrations, improving feel and maximizing face flexibility. The SIM 2 irons are also available with an OS or Oversize design that gives even greater forgiveness, distance and feel.

SIM 2 Max OS irons feature a Thru-Slot Speed Pocket and an intelligently positioned sweet spot that enables golfers to unlock truly explosive ball speeds more consistently.
